As has been widely reported, the ongoing investigation as to who killed Al Jazeera journalist, Shireen Abu Akleh, is on going. Dangerous tropes and speculations have been circulating, despite concrete evidence.

Israel, on countless occasions has requested a joint investigation, and also encouraged a neutral 3rd party to do so on the basis that the Palestinian Authority (PA) hand over the bullet that tragically killed Ms Abu Akleh.

After a damning, dangerous and false report of findings was issued by UN Rights Commission, blaming Israel for the shooting of the Ms Abu Akleh, Lt, Col. Hirsch was interviewed by SABC News – The Globe host, Peter Ndoro to discuss the truth (29 June 2022).
