South African Zionist Federation Condemns Latest Attack in Wave of Terror

The South African Zionist Federation is once again horrified and saddened by the latest callous terror attack last night carried out in the heart of Tel Aviv, Israel. The attack by a Palestinian terrorist, who entered Israel illegally from the West Bank and fired indicriminantly at young Israelis in a popular street in Tel Aviv, left two people murdered and eight wounded, some in a critical condition. The two victims from last night were both 27 years old and good friends since childhood. This tragic wave of terror over the past few weeks has now claimed the lives of 13 people in total. Israel’s security forces have thwarted dozens of potential attacks in the past few weeks. May the memories of those fallen to terror be blessed and not be forgotten.

We call on the South African government, who so far have remained silent, to speak up and unequivocally condemn this wave of terror, and the incitement of violence in Gaza and the Palestinian territories.
